I am advised by the former owner that the sectioned DC-3 in the Moose Toys store is actually VH-MIN.

Mods - what's with photos needing approval if posted via the site rather than linked from elsewhere? There's nothing stopping me from posting a pic of Mustang Sally in all her glory, thronomeister valve clearly visible, provided I do so via a hosting site. As easy to delete something inappropriate either way I'd have thought.

No idea. Some new idea the Geeks came up with. Short of checking every post in every thread, I don't know where photos are posted requiring approval.......... If you posted images that require approval send me a PM.

Best idea, stick to the old system of posting a link to a picture hosting site.

Not my photo, not in Australia but thought it too good to not share. http://aviationweek.com/site-files/a...jpg?1432225418 I thought it interesting to compare the wing chord of the two aircraft. I didn't realise how Cessna type high lift the lower aircraft was or maybe just looks like that compared to the one flying above it.

Fairly ordinary photography, but the bushfire season has started in South Australia. With thunderstorms overhead, and dry lightning starting several fires in the area, BD500 and B580 in the new Aerotech colour scheme depart Hoyleton Air Base to do business with the old enemy....

Evans Head

Did none of the usual suspects make it down to Evans Head for the Great Eastern Fly-in?

In the absence of anything else, here are a few of mine.

DF,

Far more than just sad, regarding the two aboard the Mallard in Perth. For there were two fatalities in that accident.

RIP, two fellow aviators.

Yes - that is what I was referring to. Sad loss of both aircraft & lives.
