Sunair HF

I'd like to have a go at getting out Sunair ASB130 going before I remove it. Does anyone know who still understands them?

We've got one in our 210. Works ok. Got to clean the contacts in the tuner occasionally. Edit: Actually ours is probably a 125.

HAHA Sunair . I thought operators just put them in aircraft to 'show' they have a HF . Nothing makes me feel better than chopping out old avionics :-)

Tom Vinnicombe could fix it, but he'll take forever and charge you a kings ransom. Call Mark at AMS Caloundra, he may be able to advise in whch cave Tom is hiding. Personally, as in my previous post....forget it and buy another.

Thanks. It failed precipitously, so I'm hoping its an easy component failure. I'd like it for a SE Asian trip later this year. But otherwise, I'd turf it.
