YLIS wheels up 23/3/11

Anybody got any details on the wheels up at YLIS yesterday??

All I know was it was a duchess...

I'll never forget the sight of a Cardinal doing a wheels up at JT and then learning that it was an instructor and student doing an initial Retrac endo. Yes the horn did fail from what I heard but talk about swiss cheese.

The poor instructor was so so so humble the next few days. Seemed a nice lad.

Bleedin' dangerous things touch n' goes in a retractable, especially a twin. It is a mistake looking for a place to happen.

IDENTIFY.....you MUST always touch the lever and say outloud "flaps identified", stop, and then... checked.
