The Singapore Air Force are selling off their Siai Machetti 211 jet trainers that were based at Pearce. Most likely they are now at Jandakot.

hawks

Sunday Times News Paper rports that 18 hawks, former Singapore Airforce, from Pearce have been sold under auction. They have been relocated via low loader trucks from Pearce to Jandakot.

Buyer has not been advertised...any idea who and what the aircraft will be used for?

Speaking of which why are TAFE getting a jet when none of the apprentices attending Swan Tafe are working on that type of aircraft. All the students are from GA fixed wing and Heli background.

Surely they don't think they can compete with groups such as Aviation Australia ??

May be the same ones advertised for sale (to civilian market?) in Aviation Trader 'from $200,000' each. I want one but wife says no. Women can be so unreasonable.

Maybe its the Royal Aero clubs new training machines . Out with the 152's and in with the machi's . That should speed up the circuits

SK, make the club an offer. Then you'll never have to see them all go.

I Believe, FCI are selling the Jets(Marchetti 211) for Singapore AF, They range from 2-300k and come with a heap of spares - heard it through the grape vine.

Make a cool private jet! less then a new cessna!

I was thinking, can you easily put these on the AUS register with bang seats in them? Or do you have to remove them and then wear parachutes?

You can have ejection seats, as long as they are properly maintained.
