Dr Graham Robinson

Sad to hear that Dr Robinson was killed in a cycling accident. A great doctor who made the annual trip for a medical a good laugh and as painless as possible. My thoughts go out to his family and colleagues in Mairangi Bay.

Very sorry to hear this - I thought I recognised his name as one of the aviation doctors in Auckland. I hear the police are searching for the driver who hit him - apparently a hit and run.

According to the NZ Herald, the accident occurred on Peak Road, near Helensville. I know the road. It is narrow, with sharp corners, and no reduced speed limit. I would not even walk along that road, let alone ride a bike along it.
