What's up with Toll Aviation in QLD
I see that Toll in QLD are looking for a new CEO, any news on what happened to the last one ? wasn't he only appointed last year ?

You'll find their employees are gagged from talking about the company on the Internet, face book etc. There are a few well known PPRuNe identities that work there too, but will most likely not respond to some of the above comments for this reason.
Last I heard the garmin 100s are all gone and using IFR garmin 155s as mentioned above. Any units that are 'VFR only' are due to not being coupled (for a lack of a better word) to the HSI i.e. no GPS tracking or hold mode. I'm not an avionics expert, but that is the way it was explained to me.
