Airballoon,

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the A330 Strategic OP you refer to? The A330 supporting the Australian Defence Force in the Middle East? Is that a carrier called "Air Luxor"?

"Air Luxor" was the old name. I don't know what the process was, but it is now "Strategic Aviation".

This is the white A330 with the blue fin with the stars on it.

(The name change took place around mid 2006, from memory).

DIVOSH!

Yes, an A330 Syd/Darwine/Middle east.
Strategic Aviation - set up from an older/finishing Adagold Aviation Defence Force contract which was on Russian Antonovs, through Richmond AFB.
Air Luxor A330 airframe was utilised on lease shortly
Passed one of the drivers through Sydney the other day and he was off to Kuwait. Darwin is a base. All I know sorry.
