Qantas OHA

G'day all,

Is the QF occupational health assessment the same as a CASA class one medical?

Are they more strict with eyesight (colour diffiency, short sighted, etc.) and hearing requirements? Also, what other "additional items" are involved that aren't in the CASA class one and what is the purpose for supplying a dental x-ray? Any input and help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers.

The dental x-ray is required so thay can identify you if you crash.

I had my QF Medical not too long ago and it was the same as a class one. One of the candidates that I was being tested with had a class one due so he got the QF doctors to rubber stamp that as well.

As for additional requirements in regards to eye sight and hearing its anyones guess. I would suggest if your fine for a class 1 then thats enough.

Good Luck all
