Peter Jackson Camel accident - WTF?
I delved into the NZCAA website to see what was the basic guts of why the Camel had nosed over on to its back in Masterton only to see nothing was registered. Why is this? The accident has been reported widely around the world but not here in NZ. Why does NZCAA plead with us to report EVERY occurence for the benefit of every bugger and then ignore a very public one.
Why do the owners of ZK-BQV have to explain why their Cub ended up on its back when a vintage fighter in a very public arena can do the same and be ignored because its pilot is a supposed 'Ace'?
Don Mask - always 100 percent

When did it happen?
I've just had a squizz at the the NZ CAA website and they have no accident details up for 2006 yet - maybe they have a back log?
What did you search for? Jackson's Camel is technically a Gerald Thornhill TS I (Sopwith Camel Replica) - rego JMU.

While i dont recall the actuel incident, i think CAA publish incidents in their magazine. However it would be nice to see an 'incidents' or 'investigations in progress' page in the CAA website.
