Looks like a Mustang...

However this is a Stewart - a 70% scale replica of a P51. I do hope Lee makes it round the world one day - this has been the suggestion since the creation of his "Foundation" however, I imagine that much of the IRS tax deductible turnover of the foundation must surely be absorbed through maintenance, hangarage, training, publicity, expenses etc. in preparation for such an adventure? I see that donations may be made c/o Kingdom Communities of the Valley, a Phoenix based organisation whose mission is stated as "Strengthening Faith-Based Non-Profits".

I see Lee describes himself as a JAA Approved TROT, Flight instructor for Oxford Aviation Academy, Oxford England UK. What is a TROT?

Are you a student of Capt. Owens flygirl?

Meh. Dude wants to do something he can't afford and wants other people to pay for it. In this particular case it's fly an impractical airplane around the world. Very common story, just substitute in any one of thousands of expensive adventures and there you have it.

What exactly is he "captain" of ??? I missed that in the video.

Met this thoroughly nice guy in early 2007 when he was starting this whole thing up. Although the last I had heard was he had had an incident with the aircraft - which would explain why nothing has happened yet, and probably won't now. (and he wasn't a Captain back then lol)

We all become "Captains" once we pass a certain age.
