CFI salary NYC and long island

Hi guys, i am a cfi MEI here in florida and actually i am planning to move to NY area for family reasons, did anyone can help with how much they get paid there...since life is so expensive. I have read 31$ per hour...can someone confirm or share any experience from NY or lon island school.i saw that they are hiring CFIs there but i dont wanna apply and get a surprise with the pay....thank you

How about you just ask the school(s) that's hiring how much they're offering to pay?
