From the web site:

Will they fire 20,000 Regional Airline Pilots that stood together in an unprecedented way and made U.S. airline history? Not a chance!
Sounds a lot like what the AFAP pilots in Oz thought when the union told them to fax in their resignations. Or what the PATCO controllers thought when they walked off the job.

If you need any advice on organizing a sickout, contact the Allied Pilots Association. They have some recent experience.

Well... I'm no longer with the regionals, THANK GOD!!! But I sure wish this had taken place back when I was. I have no doubt I'd have been ill during the published week.

As I posted on the web page, IMO any regional pilot that does not participate deserves the pay and schedules they currently have.

I'm no stranger to the regionals myself. However, these wildcat job actions don't always turn out like the 'leaders' would have you believe.

On the other hand, maybe if you can afford to lose the job and job reference, give it a try...

'Mav, you have the number of that truck driving school we saw on TV?'

Not sure I'd call it a "wildcat job action" so much as a grass routes campaign for the pilots to fight back a little. And I can't see them being able to fire anyone (union at least) that's off probation and returns with a doctors note.

I could be wrong but that's how it appears to me.

Either way, I was hoping to find a thread on here already about the site. Can anyone post a link? I've had no luck finding anything.

BTW Airbubba, in my search for "sick outs" to find more about this site, you popped up in other threads and I have to say you sound very sympathetic towards management.

My guess is:

1) management
2) scab
3) extremely lucky career choices
4) no self worth

In that order

You tell me?.?.
