USA operators hiring non-residents?

Does anyone know of any US airlines who hire non-US pilots? I would love to take a 'career break' but would sacrifice a break to work in the USA. I would obtain a FAA ATP and a Visa.

Currently rated on the 737-800 with over 2500hrs on type as an FO.

Thanks.

No sir they only hire residents and nations in addition they do not provide work permits and you cannot work with just any tourist visa.

You'll need Permanent Resident status.

Is your betrothed a Yank? If not, so sorry. You'll need a company to sponsor you for a "green card" allowing you to work in the US. Good luck with that.

Marry a girl from Boston, you'll be amazed at the kind of tail a little bit of brogue can score you around those parts.

Yeah, because we're short on qualified pilots in the US. How about I just pop over to Europe and have a look for work? Rated on the 747-400/-8 on a HKG license. What's that? Right to live and work needed? C'mon guys, I have no problem working with anyone from any country. But if you want to work here I need to be able to work there. It would be a lot more fun and much more interesting for all of us.

Flydubai still hiring!

Join your friends already here in Dubai.

Flydubai still hiring, despite all the trash you read on here, it's a pretty good gig. We have some issues to sort out, that's certain. Rostering gets rough sometimes, but its a very nice work environment. Tax free helps.

Single guys/girls can lead a fairly nice life, good gig for married with kids, as well.

Don't count much on staff travel on emirates, always full to IRL, UK, EU, but there are other ways to get around.

Check the flydubai master thread for more info.

I'm not in recruiting.. Really!
