I got my type at Reflectone in Tampa, Florida (in 1992). The firm was bought out by CAE some time back, and the sim is no longer in Tampa.

The firm the previous poster refers to is Sim Aero Training.

Here's a link in English ... SIM-AeroTraining

Here's another link referring to Sim Aero (some distance down the page). I mention it because it mentions a facility in Johannesburg, but this doesn't show up on the actual Sim Aero site. I note the previous poster is from Johannesburg, which isn't a good sign ...

Aircraft Charter Aircraft Leasing - AirQuarius Aviation - Partners

FAA approval isn't mentioned, but if they don't have it they'd probably know of someone who does.

Good luck!

The Tampa simulator was moved to the USAir facility in Charlotte, NC. After that I think it moved to Toronto (?) for Canadian Regional Airlines. No idea what happened to it, or to the one Horizon was using in Seattle.

My best guess is to check the 'Flight International' Civil Flight Simulator Census.

F-28 Current Sims in Operation....

There are only two F-28 sims in operation for the moment SAS in Sweeden and Garuda's in Indonesia. Horizon's sim was sold to Air Aquarius I believe but has still to be made operational and has NOT been certified. If you need the contacts let me know and I will send them to you. Cheers
