United removing 100 aircraft from its fleet!

United slashes staff, planes as it tries to save money

CHICAGO (AP) -- United Airlines said Wednesday that it's cutting up to 1,100 more jobs, removing 100 fuel-guzzling airplanes from its fleet and slashing domestic capacity as it tries to cope with spiraling fuel prices.

1,100 employee cut does not include pilots. The number of pilots will be released in the near future.
