Saab340- a cry 4 help

Hey there,
I'm looking for advice/help/info from anyone who operates on the Saab340. I am currently investigating a wee inconvenience with the stairs bracket which protrudes into the cabin/galley when the stairs are deployed! Passengers sometimes trip while boarding.... has anyone encountered this? ...Looking for any advice or solution to this problem!!
Also some of our models have toilets at the back. Access to the toilet bin is therefore limited unless the cargo hold divider is opened from the hold on every turn around, and also it makes security searches very difficult....
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
