Angel US PPL wants to fly in Sweden

Howdy folks !

A friend from California who owns and flies a new Turbo Cessna 182T wants to fly an SE- registered airplane in Sweden. Non-commercial, just for sightseeing flights. Can anyone suggest who / what / where he should contact (near Stockholm) and what hoops he'll need to jump through to do this?

Tusen takk !

Cheers,

Tom

I did the same about 7 years ago and all that was needed then was a notification to the CAA. No written tests or anything.

Call the Transport Agency on +46 771 - 503 503 and ask.

Good luck!

Thank you very much, FI-A. I'll tell him to give them a shout.

Cheers,

Same here,
Got a CASA (Australian) CPL, wrote an email and got permission to fly for 12 months.
...didn't get to use it unfortunately due OVC007 for 4 weeks straight. Go in summer!
