Saab 340 type rating??

Hello guys

I wonder if you have any information about the Saab 340 type rating. Is it only possible to take the type rating in Stockholm? I've been searching on the internet and the TRTO's are located all over the place (almost all in Sweden) and it seems that all of them are using the same simulator in Arlanda? Infact I know about another simulator in England but that sim is only for dry lease.
Does anyone here have information about any other Saab 340 simulators and TRTO's offering type rating courses..

Flight Safety in Farnborough has a 340 sim. Dunno about courses, or if it's just dry lease (maybe that's the one you were referring to?)
I belive Logan Air uses that sim. Perhaps they can offer training as well, if Flight Safety won't?

Hi Don,

Have you contacted www.braathenstraining.com I believe they can arrange training in different locations. (Sweden, UK, USA etc)

Has it been difficult to find a job with the A320 rating?

Best regards, Life Boat

Not only Sweden but it´s the best option

Hi!

Try Aerotraining, a low cost TRTO but with great instructors and high quality that I´ve experienced.
