Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset Al Megrahi's lawyer has denied reports that he has died.

Sky News quoted sources this afternoon who cited reports claiming the man convicted of Scotland's worst atrocity, the bombing Pan Am flight 103 in 1988, had passed away.

But his lawyers in Scotland quickly refuted the reports. 'It's absolutely untrue,' lawyer Tony Kelly said when asked for confirmation. 'He's definitely not dead.'

The phrase "The Lockerbie bomber" has been copyrighted by PPRuNe mods and is the sole property of danny @ Danny Towers.

Please don't nick it.

Entire threads can be skewed slewed and distorted by renaming a thread about PA103 as "The Lockerbie Bomber" when the discussion is about a Libyan.
