Toy plane flown at 737- video

On Yahoo.co.uk (I can`t get a url to post) someone attached a video camera to a radio controlled model plane and flew it towards a Virgin Blue 737 approaching Perth. Video shows 737 going past "30 metres" in front of model, according to Channel 7 News.

This was filmed from Redcliffe Park, in line with runway 24. This is my local park and it looks 100% genuine to me.

30 metres seems about right, but then, cameras can be very deceptive.

If it's genuine, and I stress IF, then I would suggset it's a serious matter.

I'm off flying, Bye !

That looks like it came from the same people who did that kiteboarder getting tangled up in the wingtip at Sydney a couple years ago.

It looks fake.

Agree with that PR876. There's something not quite right about the news report either me thinks. Also, it got moved fairly sharpish. Maybe the Mods know more ?
