My experience in Maldives was:

Kuramathi (nice sand bank at the end of the island, overall nice experience)
Sheraton Full moon (a bit more expensive and not my favorite)
Holiday Inn resort (nice compromise, beautiful terrace for sunsets, and you may use/collect Priority club points if booked directly)
Bandos Island (only 15 min from the Airport but still OK)

Kurumathi is my favorite though.
I would recommand to book the Seaplane transfer, at least on one leg. Fun to see guys flying the Twin Otter with naked feet!
In any case one week is enough there in my opinion, unless you're found of diving!

Gangehi Island Resort have good deals in Agoda. All guests are either All-Inclusive or Full Board which is great as food is reallygood. Island is small and very private.

Kuredu is great, it's a bigger island that has more to do than most places. I also found it pretty reasonable, price wise. You can even learn to kitesurf there.

Well you can check out for Maldives tourism or contact any travel agent.
You will get good packages for whole Maldives places including beaches.

I would be tsunami conscious and avoid ground floor suites.

Kuredu was fantastic Many restaurants to choose from and not a small island so you can get away from the sea and do other things like golf
