My fellow pilots,

I will be spending few days in ANC in mid Aug. I was told some of the local rental car agents (at the terminal or maybe in downtown) have airline discount. If you know who offers such deal, please let me know. I want to go salmon fishing in Russian River.

There used to be an outfit in Anchorage calle Rent-A-Wreck, ideal for aircrew!

Denali Rental Cars on Gambell Street definitely do Airline Discounts.
Rates change depending on the season.
Slightly odd people (well, it is Alaska!) but incredibly nice & helpful.
Much cheaper than the rest when you add full insurance
