Hey,

At the moment Radio City Apartments are the cheapest and just off Times Sq. I have stayed there twice and found them to be good but if your looking for 5 stars dont go there. But if your looking for somewhere clean and comfortable this is ok.Im Staying there again in October for a week.

Not sure about crew rates but NYC is expensive at the moment for accomadation.

The nice peeps at the Westin Times Square should give you a big room for £220 (crew rate) if you fancy splashing out. When I stayed there last year they gave me the 4th night free. Tis a nice hotel.

airmed.... DC area

check the Crystal City area, lots of industry rates available by calling the hotels directly. be sure to ask for 'in house' reservations at the big chain hotels - otherwise you'll be sent to their central reservations offices. CRO's don't typically have access to industry rates. Crystal City provides easy access to the metro and in to DC. lots of crews stay in that area.

Key Bridge Marriott is one that usually gives away the farm too, although its location isn't quite as easily accesed as Crystal City.

Alexandria and Arlington are good locations with quaint neighborhoods as well.
