Question B&Bs near Bournemouth, Hurn Airport

I'm heading to train for 5 days in Hurn Airport.

Can anyone recommend any cheap and decent B&Bs?

Many thanks

Lots of accom avbl - Transport to/from the airport is a challenge unless you have a car or plan to use a taxi. There is an hourly bus service from Bournemouth town centre to the airport terminal (southeast sector) which is ok for the atc college, but if you are at the north west side, where much of the flight training takes place, a car is a must.

Loads of B&B & hotels in Bournemouth town centre, which is good for bars restaurants and an extensive 24/7 night life. In fact Bmth has more hotel beds that any city in the UK outside of London, so you are spoilt for choice!

Try Wimborne & Christchurch too, a bit quieter but usually better quality for the price and also close enough so as not to make a difference.

You could even pitch a tent at the camp site just north of 26 threshold at the airport. V. cheap, but the weather has been a bit too breezy for that the last week or so!

If you have a car

Try This ..White House Bed & Breakfast, weekend breaks dorset, accommodation Poole, b&b in poole dorset, bed and breakfast purbecks, short breaks in poole, Jurassic coast accommodation, Poole b&b, Poole bed and breakfast, guest houses poole, bed and breakfast n

It's in Poole 20mins away BUT having tried a lot of local B=Bs this is well worth the drive ....truly spectacular !!!

Its more like a boutique hotel, landlord is a builder and it shows , it is 5 star
food great and wifi ! and great country pub down the road.

AND £40 only night !

I stayed at the Grosvenor Lodge in Christchurch many years back while doing my IR. I met girls from around the area and had the time of my life!

Grosvenor Lodge, friendly guest house, Christchurch

A woman named Yas owns the place and it is run very well.
