There isn't much close by. T2 has a few restaurants, the CityGate mall has a good Thai place in the basement next to the supermarket (don't even venture to the food court - it will make you heave), there are a few Indian restaurants that have cars to take you there from outside the Tung Chung MTR and the Novotel has a good Italian. Aviators is OK for a cheap drink but food and service is just awful.
Hope this helps.

The Melody Thai restaurant is in Tung Chung close to the fort. Call 2988 8129 and they will pick you up from the Regal if they're not too busy. Some of the best Thai food outside Thailand.

As per TC babes post, I would say the Thai grub at the place in the mall would be pretty hard to beat - It is superb.

One of the Indians by the fort is good; The other will give you the full Indian experience and make you very sick. Unfortunately I cant remember which is which.

Off topic I know, but does anyone know any places that sell snow ski clothing. I know they don't have snow, but did get some high end ski goggles for a very good price there a few years ago. Thanks.

Get down Mong Kok - plenty of shops doing that stuff around Fa Yuen Street (Sports shoes street) is a good place to look.

As The Babe said, the Novotel in Tung Chung has an excellent restaurant called Olea. It is Mediterranean, having Spanish, French, Greek and Italian dishes. Good service, good food, fairly reasonable price.
Enjoy.

RC Outfitters for high quality (Mammut/NF etc) mountaineering/hiking equipment - try to get the 'VIP' discount if you are splashing out.

Alternatively - Chamonix shop

Both near the Mong Kok MTR
