Can anyone suggest a decent/reasonable place to stay? Only for 1 night. Had a quick search but cant seem to find much.

Cheers.

Socrates,

If you mean Burgess Hill, just a bit south of Gatwick / Crawley...

Well it's a lot better than Crawley - hardly difficult - but is not exactly paradise, with it's fair share of low-life.

I'm sorry I can't recommend a particular place, but for one night I'd go for a Travelodge or similar, if there's one handy.

I & my family are in Horsham, which is a nicer place, but difficult to guarantee a room slot in any of the local places without advance warning.

* I can think of a decent enough place in Horsham if you asked them in advance, in which case feel free to PM me, but for Burgess Hill, one night, your best bet is a google search, as I say for a travelodge or someone on here with more local knowledge.

Thank you for the replies chaps.

Yes, I did mean Burgess Hill. Thankyou for the heads-up on the area too, will ensure ALL valuables are removed from the car.

Had a look at the links made a few enquiries and managed to book a place for the night. Not stopping for the scenery, just need to be there for an early start next day.

Diolch yn fawr iawn
