Fort Lauderdale

May be nightstopping here in a few weeks. Been to the FTL area before, but never stayed there, always Miami. I have heard that the hotels in FTL area are below par service wise, full of cruise pax or drunk, loud college students on "spring break" or similar. Any good crew hotel recommendations or should we go south to Miami area?

Ft. Lauderdale

I have stayed in the Ft. Lauderdale area many times and have never had a problem. The FBO will usually know the quality of the hotels and can point you in the right direction.
The bigger problem is sometimes finding a room if there is some big event going on.
Call ahead to the FBO and ask for help. If I had a choice I would rather stay in Ft. Lauderdale than the Miami area.
Good luck.
