Narita hotel with view of Airport

Got one night at narita, 15 May.

Anyone know which hotels if any would give some kind of view of airport activity?

Marroad International says "From its top floor restaurant one can enjoy a
close-up view of jumbo jets landing and departing at Narita International Airport. Panoramic windows frame an unforgettable night scene."

NRT hotel

The Hilton has a really nice viewpoint on the top floor and a load of the rooms as well
great view of 16r and 34l and you can see all take off and landing traffic on 16l 34r ask for a runway view i know some of there staff sure they can do it if you ask.

Cheers

The Marroad probably has the best view. Also the Port Hotel, Narita View, Hilton and the upper floors of ANA Crowne Plaza are ok. I know the Hilton if you ask for an 'Airport View' they charge more even though many of the rooms are the same size and set-up.

It's been a while since I was in NRT, but there used to be a McDonald's restaurant that (in the airport terminal, past security, but I can't remember which terminal) had a pretty good, elevated view of RWY 34L/16R, the long one. The view was off to the southwest. You could see a huge clock, imposed on an elevated, landscaped bank off across the runway. Can anyone elaborate? I won't say anything about the menu, other than after being in the orient for a week or so, the french-fries seemed to taste better. Almost made a "yank" feel at home :-)

Never had that happen to me and I have stayed there several times. But I guess YMMV.
