MNL in a few words

Two names to remember for MNL -
xxx
Makati district - for business area - hotels - bars - dance clubs -
San Miguel (the Patron Saint <beer> of the Philippines) -
Transport - take "Jeepneys" - they are inexpensive + fun -
And if you are single - I shall not say more (I am a gentleman).
Your escorts are... hmmm... cute, lovely, romantic... the best Asia offers.
Almost got married a dozen times there... I was single then...
xxx

Happy contrails

Makati is great. Good night clubs bars and restaurants.
Can recommend a place called ‘Strumms’ just off Makati Avenue for music.

For the ‘low life’ head for Ermita. Place called the LA Café comes to mind plus a few other bars but be prepared to fight off the ‘freelancers’.

I quite enjoy a couple of wind down beers (San Miguel) in the Shangri foyer while watching the eye candy. There is also a club there a a few good restaurants.

Mall of Asia good for shopping as is the SM Megamall.

Beware taxi drivers. Negotiate rate beforehand or ensure the meter is working. It seems that 90% of taxis have us meters. Or use the hotel taxi service.
