Visit Sinai Divers half way round the bay for a days shallow reef diving, no experience required, 70 euros for everything. Incredible day out.....

Came back a few weeks ago, it was an ok place to bee for a few.
Nice, warm and sunny.
Thats about it And pretty cheap beer....

Sharm...

Went there on a whim about 7 years ago..., then it was quiet and relaxing with great diving. Looking at recent adverts for the place it appears it has gone the way of many other resorts of this nature - over commercialized.

Been there a couple of times before - the diving is amazing in the Red sea and there are setups everywhere. You don't need a PADI qualification but if you do take an introductory beginner dive then it will help and can count towards getting that open water qualification later if you want to. Also make sure the dive shop is PADI approved, as there are a few dodgy ones around with suspect equipment - not something you want to mess around with
