BARBADOS....mon

Any quick recommendations? Out there Saturday, and no idea where to head to after checking in at the Grand. Bridgetown, I guess, but decent watering holes??

Head to the Crane beach, access is via the crane hotel on the south east coast. Also head up the east coast a bit more to a wee place called Bottom Bay - awesome! Further up is Bathsheba which is an awesome little surf spot. For west coast id say Akra beach for fitties.

Best bet for general advice is pick up a copy of "Barbados In a Nutshell". Awesome little fold out guide available everywhere, also the "Ins and Outs of Barbados" should be standard room coffee table merch when you check in.

Hope it helps.

Great little italian restraunt, the first one in the Gap on the right.

A great little Thai restraunt called Tamnak Thai is a must. expensive by Bajan standards (£35 for 2 courses and wine) oh and you've probably already found him if your in the not so "grand" but dave's fish baps are the the best hang over cure. in between the Hilton and the Grand. the hut has been there years- his dad run it before him

cheese and egg for breakfase and fish for lunch with a bank's..
