Some of the smaller bars away from the touristy bits here sell draught Tiger at SGD5 for an approx 300ml mug. Tastes like p!ss though.

Happy hour at Harry's Bar, Boat Quay, bottle Heineken is SGD8, thereafter SGD12.

Best deal (and best beer) is Brewerkz microbrewery, which has 4 pricing bands, depending on time and / or day, a pint ranges from 4.99 weekdays 12.00 - 15.00 to 13.99 all days 20.00 to closing.

Off the beaten track in China.

Jocks (or somesuch) in Hong Kong used to have a misery hour. Beer was HK$10 a pint for the first hour $20 for the second, $30 for the third.

Poteen in Ireland.

If you go to Teterboro (poor soul) go to Bazookas. Order a pitcher of Yingling Lager. It's really good and cheap. I can't remember how cheap.

Regards

Boddington's, the Old Vic, St Annes. 17.5p/pint. This was some time ago, so prices may have changed.

Try ''The Glan Bar'' in Glangevlin, Co.Cavan, Ireland. Pint of Guinness @ €3.00 won't be beaten in Ireland. A damn good pint at that

cheapest beer

It may not be the cheapest beer, but the best I've had is Antartica Beer in Manaus, Brazil. You've got to love a name like that in the middle of the Amazon rain forest, it even makes you feel cooler just thinking about it. Tasted pretty good too.

Actually, it is 12 cents USD a mug. The quickest way to meet new freinds, do a round of 100 mugs of beer for $12 !!!!!! Everything was cheap there.

(beer smile icon goes here)

The Damba lounge in Accra. "Star" is the local brew. Tastes like sewage, but dirt cheap.
