Question Houston (unexpectedly...)

Folks,

I'm suddenly in Houston for a few days, along with many others from the Gulf coast. Relaxation isn't the first priority, but can anyone recommend any sights/attractions/eateries/nightlife that are worth sampling?

Cheers, Crepello.

Taste of Texas is well worth a visit for some decent cow chow.

There is a fantastic aircraft museum just outside of Galveston. Virtually all of the aircraft are still flying, there are some beautiful WW2 models.

Hooters is always a good laugh for a blokes night out.

My favourite restaurants are "Houstons" and "Churrascos" both on Westheimer. The Cheesecake Factory in the Galleria does a shepherds pie to die for.
