Yes, 3 active squadrons (hikotai) and a test squadron flying the F-4EJ/F-4EJ Kai/RF-4E Kai and RF-4EJ Kai, although 302 Hikotai, which was involved in this incident, is due to relinquish their F-4EJ Kai's next year for you know what...
301 and 501 Hikotai then last a while longer as does the Hiko Kaihatsu Jikken Dan (ADTW) test squadron.

How do I know all this stuff? Well, what some may consider an unhealthy obsession with all things F-4, mainly thanks to an uncle sitting me by the fence at Coningsby from the age of about 5, a well stocked F-4 'library' and access to several good online resources, a couple of online friends are also far more knowledgeable than me and are an invaluable source of 'brain picking' when info is not readily available...
