A mate of mine who worked at Elmdon,now Birmingham airport,during the war told me of how he used to oil the rockers on the Hawker Tomtit as flown by Alec Henshaw.Who knows?

This film was shot at Markebeke airfield near Kortrijk by Anthony Fokker. You can see Fokker in the last shot on the left. The airfield and the chateau de Bethune are still untouched. The church in the background is Bissegem.

oil the rockers on the Hawker Tomtit
A little difficult as he would have to remove the ten rocker covers first. Following maintenance?
