Ah the classic "Vickers Voyager".

Could have been worse...the Typhoon pics might have featured a certain classic Hawker prop...!!!!

The time to worry as Bob Prest intimidated in his book, is when your up To Q10 and aircraft are armed on the line. Just the Russian Air Force making sure all the RAF are not enjoying a sunny bank holiday weekend.

Fly safe ladies and gents and not forgetting all those on the ground supporting the effort.

Nudgingsteel.

Wrong Voyager, this was the Transformers Voyager. Scroll down even further and it has morphed shape again and the engines are back under the wings.

A Ministry of Defence spokesperson said: "Two Typhoons were scrambled from RAF Lossiemouth this morning as part of the RAF's Quick Reaction Alert in response to two Russian aircraft entering the UK's airspace."
I would be very surprised if the MoD spokesperson really told the Volkische Beobachter that the Russian aircraft "...entered the UK's airspace"....

I also noticed the daily hate mail also used a photograph of a twin sticker "tub" rather than a single seat typhoon.
I can't imagine them using a twin sticker on Q ?

Looks like a photo of 29 Sqn OCU, or it xxx Sqn :-)

Not unusual for a tub to be on Q.
