European Airshow Council

I see that the European Airshow Council is having its annual bash in that well-known airshow venue, Malta. On the Council's website I found this;-
"Reducing the risks to zero is, of course, one of the objectives of our professional approach to organising and performing at Airshows, but a zero level of risk is probably not realistic."

Now is it just me, or does anyone who has ever flown an aircraft agree that the use of the phrase "...a zero level of risk is probably not realistic" is complete nonsense? Flying in an airliner entails a level of risk - let alone display flying. Surely "...a zero level of risk is entirely unrealistic"?

A zero level of risk is entirely realistic; the downside is that it is only achievable by staying on the ground, but one shouldn't forget that the option exists...

Ah, I see they've asked 2 FTS to look at it.
