George Diack

An old colleague of mine - one time boss actually - now 93 years young, was a Lancaster pilot in WWII and is understood to have been posted to Boscombe Down towards the end of the war. Maybe he is constrained by the Official Secrets Act, or merely does not want to shoot a line, but he is most reluctant to talk about his service. Is he remembered by anyone? Anecdotes appreciated.

Thanks you sycamore, but George was at this time a senior manager in the Post Office at Chesterfield.
