Im hoping it ends up running when it gets to Bruntingthorpe!

As I understood it that was very unlikely, due to the old yank rule. Having said that, the article Michael Beetham originally wrote about 'saving' black mike did mention having it running, so who knows?

Not going to happen under the terms of the sale due to ITAR regs, it won't even be allowed to have electrical power applied, it can be restored to static display condition only.
That's not to say that there won't be a 'relaxation' of the regs at a future date though...

Great to see this aircraft being saved - seems like only yesterday it was on the display circuit.
