Battle of Britain Dining In

Ladies and Gents,

i am running a Battle of Britain Dining In night and am looking for a guest speaker. I have seen a few online and wondered if anyone could recommend any that they have used? This will be a military event on a Military base. I have found Phil Holt online...any reviews?

I have also sent a request to RUSI but have had no response.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i want to get the best i can.

Thanks

Stephen Bungay (author of "Most Dangerous Enemy") is a true expert and talks very well to a military audience.

Seb Cox, Head of AHB. He lectured on a MOOC on the RAF and the Cold War - brilliant

Wg Cdr Tom Neill DFC* AFC (and C d G now I believe) would be an excellent choice (given he flew about 170 sorties during it) although with advancing years I understand he is less active these days.

He also gives a great account of the Nicholson VC story (give he was his wingman at the time, although not on that actual occasion) as well as many other stories from his time on 249 sqn.

Totally enthralling.

The OP may not be familiar with the identity of AM C4. In the interests of clarity and for those not "in the know":

Thanks everyone for your help, I had already contacted Stephen Bungay amongst others and am delighted to say he is attending. Good to see he has other recommendations.

Thanks Again.
