ROE for supersonic flight over UK mainland
Just wondering how much faster the Typhoon intercepts at M1+ rather than M0.95? I'm guessing it would only be a matter of tens of seconds difference?
As for an airliner hijacking, wouldn't it make sense for a hijacker to talk on the radio and give a thumbs up to any interceptor before continuing on and flying into the Houses of Parliament, etc? I would have thought that any hijacker worth their salt will have read the odd manual and done a bit of homework?
