Plan to convert former CFS HQ to a dwelling

Cotswold District Council has received an application to turn the former RAF Little Rissington Watch Tower, for many years the home of CFS, into a single dwelling.

The alternative is probably decay and disrepair.

We had a look around SHQ, now 4 apartments. The developer had to retain all external features. Inside it was well CREEPY. They named each after an airfield, one was WHARTON (sic).

I will consider living in an old ATC Tower when someone invents circular-screen TVs

All the early cathode ray tubes were round and TVs were fitted with rubber masks to creat the 4:3 rectangular screen. The initial shadow mask colour TV tubes (circa 1949) were also round
