I saw the above clip on pprune ages ago. Could someone please take the time to "decode" what was happening in the first few minutes?
I'm presuming the callsigns were "Stroke.xx" etc. In the first few minutes whilst on ground a disjointed RT is heard, mainly citing numbers. Is this some cockpit readback or RT interupted by radar maybe?
Could somebody pleas explain what exactly the pilot is doing at the beginning of the clip whilst on the ground?
Does anyone have experince of this altercation and knows what exactly happened?

He's commentating to his tape and setting up the kit - the stuff you see coming up in the bottom of the HUD. The RT sounds like it's clipped by the controller who's transmitting, certainly nothing to do with radar interference.
