Those windscreen wipers must be so handy on an SEP aeroplane....

I note that the chubby little chap was waving a cigarette around when he was standing under the wing - which could have been interesting if the drain tap hadn't closed fully...

Next thing you know, they'll fit retractable gear. Then it won't matter how many F-35s we buy, we'll be doomed. Doomed, I tell you!

Airman: Sir! Sir! You can't smoke this close to the airplane!
General Curtis E LeMay:<blowing out match> Why the Hell not, son?
Airman: Sir, because the airplane might explode, Sir!
LeMay: Son, it wouldn't dare...

One wonders whether the pilot of the aircraft can confirm what actually happened or indeed if he is still alive..... or am I being too cynical.

>North-Korean made aircraft, my 4rse!<

Did anyone else think the tyres looked a bit flat and the take-off run (with flap) rather protracted? But of course a man in his position would set a good example and do a proper weight and balance before flight. Or maybe that unusual fixed-pitch three-blade prop wasn't working too well...

Don't forget Gentlemen ... This 'Chubby Little Chap' is also a 'Steely Eyed Fighter Pilot' ... just love the headrest cover on the ejector seat which presumably is some sort of anti-grease technology
