According to RT the S-300 is an older defence system, used by a surprising list of countries all the same (Cyprus included, is that true-Cyprus?!)?! So I'm guessing then by that the West and therefore the Saudis will know all about it.
But I suppose it will set things up nicely in another regional air war if ever required for such-they seem to come around so often over this part of the earth. Hell, Saudi or Israeli pilots (what an amazing contradiction for possible potential allies) may one day get a chance to be shot at by it if they ever get ordered to attack Natanz - but then that's probably more exciting than dropping bombs on *civilian folk who cant shoot back much (like villages in the Yemen, Gaza).

They are in Crete now. Have 'we' (NATO) had the chance to strip 'em down I wonder. Although perhaps not given recent developments...
