out of the blue

What a fascinating read! Can't put it down......the thing that strikes me most is that aircrew make b*lls ups like the rest of us! Yes, I know I'm stating the obvious but the self deprecating humour is refreshing to read. Not since "Jaguar Boys" have I read something so entertaining. I suppose any b*lls up that you get to walk away from can give you a laugh......nervous or otherwise.......once your blood pressure has returned to normal! I know that only too well from 30 years in the emergency services......not on the same scale as you guys though!
I wondered way the contributors were anonymous when I picked it up.......obvious why once I got going!
It feels as though you can't get away with anything these days!
Thanks to the contributors for sharing their "shame"......and thanks to the guys who compiled it. Can't wait to start on "Too"!

4Greens, try pasting Out of the Blue: The Sometimes Scary and Often Funny World of Flying in the Royal Air Force, as Told by Some of Those Who Were There or Out of the Blue Too: More Scary and Often Funny Tales from the Royal Air Force and Friends into your browser search pane and all will be revealed!
