SA 11 AVOIDANCE

With another two jets reportedly shot down in Ukraine I was wondering if modern fighters are able to easily avoid SA 11 batteries?

I suppose it's dependent upon what 'easily avoid' means, pulling 5+ g releasing chaff etc might not come into that definition.

Also dependent upon knowing it's launched eh?

Low flying and few CBUs for their trouble would work....except they are both pretty much banned now.

The modern battlefield is very interesting indeed. SEAD aircraft plus Growlers are the order of the day plus other tactics.
Interestingly I spoke to a friend (aged 95) who flew fighters in the desert , Italy, Europe including Tempests chasing V1's and ground attack. He said he probably had 10000 rounds fired at him in 4 years of continuos flying and only 2 hits which shot him down in his Tomahawk near Tobruk.
Times have changed !
