Left Waddington for it's new home at Goodwood yesterday. End of an era. It was also I believe Paul 'The Major' Day's last flight, he's hanging up his gloves. Anyone who knows Paul will know what a varied career he's had and what an interesting raconteur he is. As I'm sure many of you are aware MJ was based in our hangar and was 'our' Spit. The club will be a sadder place without the sound of that Merlin and Paul mooching around during the display season. Also best wishes to Keith, Dave and the rest of the crew who maintained her. Blue skies to all of you guys, you will be missed.
