Talking of slackness ....

It was the torpedo that got fired - not the Skipper.

The Skipper wouldn't have made such a big dent ......

Here we go again. Yet another opportunity for HS to start mouthing off about Naval Officers.

Give it a break mate. It was an accident. They happen.

And nothing in the story mentions the Skipper being relieved of his post.

NDs happens in all branches of the Forces be it HMS Argyll, Phantom v Jag or Squaddie on the range.

More slackness from a military under halfwits?
If baiting, go fish.

In all cases thank God there was no loss of life, hold the enquiry and learn the lessons.
