Attended the opening on 12 September. What a beautiful place and what an amazing day! Interesting closed-loop film being played in Dowding's office. The Patron, HRH Prince Charles had to stop his speech outside as "we are coming under attack again" as the Spitfire and Hurricane continued to fly over from every which way.
